I found this after reading through a Patreon post from another VN I read, and I have to say, I'm DEFINITELY glad I decided to look into this one. This looks like a nice story so far!

I keep getting "an error has occurred" screen during the talk with the receptionist when he is explaining the facilities. It happens every few lines or so.... :(

Usually, this type of main character annoys me but he is very endearing with the way he is done! I also liked the variety of... choices as well, body-wise as well! I look forward to future updates to see where things go.

I really wanted to try the Demo, but I don't think it works with my type of Mac :O

We're sorry to hear that it doesn't work with your model.

Sadly we don't have a way to change builds for the application, since we don't have Mac equipment.

Hopefully this gets solved with new versions of the engine.

If you’re talking about the Apple Silicon (M1) macs, it will work fine for you! Of course any intel based mac should work as well as the game engine should support x86. The only issue I could see happening is if your mac is outdated or too slow. I really hope this isn't the case because I would also like for you to experience the demo too! Best of luck!

It loads but then crashes so I am stumped, I have an Intel based Mac so I am stumped, other games work fine

I played the demo and I'm liking it so far! What I like the most is that you chose lesser known species than picking the usual like wolfs, tigers, huskies, etc. You chose, a maned wolf for a protagonist, an uncommon bearcat (binturong), a blue lizard (I don't know what species is he), a seal, a weasel for the taxi driver, an arctic fox, and a freaking PENGUIN!!!! I don't know how much you have in store and other species you're going to pick, but I'm looking forward on your next update.

Hey there.

We apologize but, there are no plans to release an android APK for the current version, since we're moving towards the new content the demo will be left as it is. 

We are considering an APK for a future release nonetheless.

Just finished going through the demo, and I have to say I am excited to see where this will go! The mac version runs perfectly for me, even through the Rosetta translation so I have no doubts the intel macs can also run this just as well. No bugs or errors thankfully, just a wonderful introduction to the story!

LOL, I was reading the last part of this demo, and when I saw the profile picture of the main character in the text box, I was like: "Dude, Did you just get into the shower with the sunglasses still on?" Even with clothes when Alec ends being the roommate. Anyway, this VN is great. I'll be waiting for more. Thank you!

Thank you for notifying us about Christian wearing clothes during Alec's route! This was a bug and has been corrected in the latest build.

Christian is super attached to his sunglasses, he wears them just about everywhere!

We do want to release a Mac version in the future, but we will have to rely on people who can try it out to give us feedback, since sadly none of the team members has a Mac to try it out.

If everything goes well, the next build will include a Mac version.

This was a super fun little demo! Off to a great start overall. In a market full of horror and thriller visual novels, the potential of a simple feel-good experience is alluring. Can't wait to see what you guys have in store! 

In terms of criticism, I have to agree with some of the other commenters that said that the MC seems to spend a bit too much time in his own head. I understand it's a personality trait, but cutting the time spent with internal thoughts and including more time where the MC is actually present in the events of things would make the intro more engaging. There are also a few funky lines in terms of grammar and phrasing, but nothing major. 

Oh, and one last thing; Arty's sprite and physical description don't seem to match that well. He's described to be a hefty guy with a belly that gets in his way, but his sprite is more akin to a beefy bodybuilder with a bit of a musclegut. I'm not sure whether adjusting the sprites at this point is feasible, but making him less muscled and perhaps a bit more on the heavy side would help with that discrepancy between his look and physical description. It would also help him feel more distinguishable from Alec, too, who's the real gym enthusiast. 

I hope that feedback helps! And in spite of these little issues, I'm very excited to check out your upcoming releases!

We've been making changes to the dialogue in order to address the feedback we got from it. This will be released in a patch that will correct most of this.

About Arty's sprite, the artist decided to have him with that physique and we changed the description in the text a bit to reflect that better. We do want a guy who enjoys food but still tries to avoid being too sedentary, hahah.

Will there be a version for Macs in the future? I would really like to give this a try.

Right now we are planning to release a Mac version with our next patch, but there's a caveat. None of the team members have a Mac to try the game on, so, we will be releasing these versions kind of blindly.

We would appreciate if the people who try this version would give us feedback in case something needs to be fixed.

A tiny thing: I find having the difference between words spoken and inner dialogue being italization a bit awkward, even if I realize it’s probably intentional, what with the whole “MC sometimes thinking aloud without realizing”. Maybe I’m just too used to having double quotes for spoken dialogue.

As an even tinier thing, it’d be cool if you could choose a default name.

Thank you for playing our game!

We noticed that other games have text in between quotes to show someone is talking and normal text when someone is just expressing thoughts, but the writer felt it was a bit odd because it would make certain sentences to have double quotations, which seemed unnecessary, so this is mostly an aesthetic choice.

Also, we have been in the talk about a default name for our MC, we most likely will include one in the next patch.

I liked this a lot for a first release!  The MC sometimes says "We" when it should be "I" even as within the same text block uses "I".  Also there is no default name right now, but based on the screencaps it should be made "Tyler".  I suppose the only options we are given right now, determine when/how we get to know the three other guys?  Right now its too soon for me to know where this VN is going to lead, but for that same reason makes it interesting, so many possibilities!

Say I just played the game with a friend and I think it's quite nice. My friend think there are problems here though. Such as when the MC talks to himself, he tends to use complicated words. Majority of time when he talk to himself need to be cut down a bit, especially the flashback scene. That's what my friend suggested. Other than that, the game has some weird English here and there but I think it's still nice. Some more tweaks from time to time would certainly help too.

Yes, we have received similar feedback from other peers and we are checking on it. After replaying the game a bit more slowly, we realized similar things like you mentioned. There's definitely some improvements to be made, specially in the selection of words and in some long-winded parts.

We would like to correct these and upload a new version of the demo with the revised text, hopefully sounding more natural and keeping the flow of the game.

Is it intended to be a character trait of the MC to describe everything in character? He certainly is portrayed as a bit absent minded, but it still feels like the majority of these descriptions are things a narrator would describe, not a character.

Hahaha, yes that's a thing for the MC at the moment. 

He's supposed to be absent minded but we agree that he should describe less things and be more part of them. This was something we decided to change rather late because we were using the MC to describe the scenes, and then realized how odd it seemed. 

In the next versions we will be changing this to sound more natural.
